Announcing Arcade Creator Studio

Hi Arcader,

I’ve not talked too much about my personal story before, but this time around, I’m going to.

I was born deaf, and since the age of twelve, I hear with cochlear implants. I am very passionate about great products that do their jobs well. With my cochlear implants, I can turn them on and immediately connect with the world around me in a much more engaging and colorful way. I’m really grateful for this gift.

You may notice that our homepage (refreshed as of today! ✨) has a colorful tone — and that when you create an Arcade, it has a lot of opportunities to add playful and interactive elements such as adjusting the hotspots, adding wrappers, and changing the chapters. That is all by design. I believe that life, and products, should have color! I’m not a monochrome person and never will be.

At Arcade, our mission is to support the product-led growth economy. We believe that your product can shine on its own — and it is all about enabling you to build that story.

We learned a few things about what you want and why you are choosing Arcade over the competition. You want to:

Today, we’re announcing a few things that add more color to your Arcade creator experience, literally and figuratively — and tools that help you build something with polish.

We’ve just released:

• Pan and Zoom to bring your product into focus.
• Blurring to hide your content, but not your product.
• New types of hotspots for more shapes for storytelling.
• Cropping your Arcade to focus on the special moments.
• Autoplay your Arcade so that your viewers can go at their own pace.

We paid close attention to the details along the way to ensure it is always an easy and intuitive experience.
