Your most requested feature is here.
This month, we launched on Windows desktop. It's been one our top requests, and we're excited to finally bring it to life. We also shipped new permissions for easier collaboration, along with editing improvements that give you more control over your demos.
Arcade on desktop is no longer just for Mac. Windows users can now capture anything on their screen directly from a native desktop app - no browser required.
Record desktop applications, local files, or content across multiple tabs. You get all the same power you're used to: interactive demos, videos, screenshots, AI captions and voiceovers, and easy sharing.
If your workflow lives outside the browser, Arcade now meets you where you work.
Huge thanks to Dillon for bringing our most requested feature to life!
Collaborating on private Arcades is now more flexible and secure with updated roles and permissions.
You can invite collaborators as Editors, who can modify content alongside the owner, or as Viewers, who get read-only access. Private Arcades require explicit access to view, while public Arcades work like unlisted YouTube links - shareable via link but not discoverable.
Share private work with clients, partners, or teammates - and stay in control of who can see and edit your content.
Big thanks to Alex for building this out!
You can now select and highlight any area in an Arcade demo - not just a single point. Draw a hotspot around an entire region to guide viewers' attention exactly where it needs to go.
This gives you more flexibility to call out sections of a UI, a group of elements, or any part of the screen that matters most.
Shoutout to Arjun for shipping this!
No more Markdown. You can now write and format text directly in a full WYSIWYG editor.
Bold, italic, underline, and other formatting options are all available with familiar controls - no syntax to remember. Just write, style, and move on.
Thanks to Nick for making this happen!
Kicking off the year at full speed.
This January, we ran our internal Turbo hackathon and shipped a set of highly requested features in a short amount of time. Every update in this release came directly out of Turbo, focused on improving the core workflows teams rely on in Arcade.
Over the past few weeks, those changes have rolled out to help you create faster, drive more engagement, and scale Arcade more easily across your team.
If you’re using Creator Studio to generate visuals for social ads, blog banners, or LinkedIn posts, this one’s for you.
We've just added animated GIFs support. Instead of a static image, your on-brand visuals can include motion to help content stand out. Animations are known to drive higher engagement on LinkedIn, across social channels, and on webpages - take advantage of that without any extra work.
Huge thanks to Sydney for bringing this to life!
When we reviewed 14M Arcade sessions from the past year, one thing was clear: voiceovers boost engagement by roughly 5% compared to demos with no voice at all.
We’ve now upgraded Arcade to support ElevenLabs v3. You can control emotion, delivery, and direction using audio tags, giving voiceovers more nuance and personality without manual recording.
Clearer tone, better pacing, and more human delivery.
Thanks to Pawel for pushing this update forward.
Agencies, consultancies, and partner teams often manage multiple clients at once.
With Private Teams, each team can now see only their own content and has no access to other teams in the workspace. This makes it safe and simple to collaborate across many customers in a single Arcade instance.
Available on Enterprise plans. Contact us if you’re interested.
Big thanks to Nick for making this happen.
Whether you’re recording screens, adding camera footage, or layering in voiceovers, polishing the final result should be easy.
This update gives you more control over how your captions show up:
More control over every recording, from first capture to final playback.
Thanks to Simon for pushing this forward.
Many teams add camera footage to make demos feel more personal, but re-recording to fix timing or mistakes can slow things down.
You can now trim and edit camera recordings directly in Arcade. Adjust the length and timing of your recording without starting over.
Clean up quickly, stay focused, and keep demos moving forward.
Huge thanks to Lucy for shipping this highly requested feature!
For larger enterprises, managing users and teams manually can slow things down.
You can now add users and teams programmatically using Arcade’s User Provisioning API. This makes it easier to onboard teams at scale and keep access in sync with your internal systems.
Built for IT and platform teams who want automation, not admin work.
You can refer to the API here.
Kudos to Sharad for shipping this!
GTM teams often want Arcade usage data alongside the rest of their customer data.
With the new Insights API, you can sync demo engagement across contacts, leads, accounts, or other audiences directly into your CRM, marketing automation platform, or data warehouse.
Easier reporting, deeper analysis, and more flexibility in how you use Arcade data.
You can refer to the API here.
Another strong addition from Sharad!
If you’ve made it this far – thank you! 🎉
New year, new ways to create with Arcade.
Happy 2026 everyone! We’re kicking off the year with a set of improvements that make Arcade faster, easier, and more flexible to use.
In our first week back from the holidays, we shipped two highly requested updates.
If you’ve tried Creator Studio, you’ve seen how quickly it can generate a product overview or sizzle reel video.
Over the past few weeks, we added editing controls so you can fine-tune the AI video result:
AI gets you started fast. You stay in control of the final polish.
Shoutout to Sydney for pushing this forward!
If you use Intercom for customer support, you can now drop an Arcade directly into an article. Paste the link and the demo embeds automatically, no setup required.
Show customers exactly how to resolve an issue instead of explaining it in text.
Kudos to Kobi, the wizard behind Arcade support!
Meet the Arcade Creator Studio.
We launched a new way for marketing teams to create beautiful, on-brand videos and visuals of their product – without waiting on overwhelmed designers and expensive agencies. This isn’t just another generic AI tool. This is AI that starts with your product and your brand, and then generates studio-quality assets for your team.
We’ve partnered with dozens of design partners to build this, and are incredibly proud of this launch.
Here's what comes with Creator Studio:
Creator Studio pulls in differentiating brand details – including typography, colors, spacing, tone, visual style, and more – directly from your website. This becomes the foundation for every asset you create, ensuring everything that follows is consistent, cohesive, and unmistakably yours.
Creator Studio generates headlines, voiceovers, pacing, and visuals based on your Brand Kit and product capture. You choose the voice and soundtrack, then refine the details in minutes.
Instead of producing chaotic AI artifacts, Creator Studio rebuilds visual assets from your real brand patterns, ensuring every image aligns with your design system.
The moment your product UI changes, your demos don’t go out of date. Arcade logs in, re-captures the new flow, rebuilds the experience, and presents an updated version for human review. Your story stays fresh across every channel with minimal effort.

Create, Share, Comment, and Blur with Confidence
We’re back with another big round of updates focused on collaboration, control, and polish.
This month, we’ve made it easier to gather precise feedback, share securely, and keep sensitive details private – plus a long list of quality-of-life improvements across video, editing, and sharing.
More details below!
By popular request, you can now blur parts of your video to hide sensitive information, personal data, or internal details before sharing.
Apply blur to any region of your screen recording, adjust the shape and duration, and review instantly within the editor. It’s quick, flexible, and a big win for privacy-friendly demos.
Thank you to Paweł for the sharp work here while training for an Ironman race. (Which he crushed it, course! Congrats Paweł!)
Many of you love the step-by-step guide feature - it makes it easy to turn any Arcade into a guide for a doc, an email, or your knowledge center. Now, you can take it even further: share your guide as a link or download it as a PDF in a matter of seconds.
Thank you to Aleks and team for the glow-up on this popular capability!
We released commenting earlier this month so any viewer could react directly on your Arcade. We added to that this week with comment on a specific step or exact second of a video – perfect for pinpoint feedback during reviews or content approvals.
Thanks to Lucy for bringing this to life (and welcome back from Greece)!
Arcaders wanted better insights and tighter control when sharing Arcades, and now they’re here.
With Custom Share Links, you can create unique URLs with fine-grained controls for personalization, access, and analytics.
Huge thanks to Alex for leading this feature.
Enterprise workspaces can now fully manage access and roles with Role-Based Access Control.
Every member has a clear permission level – and every workspace includes free Viewer seats to make collaboration simple.
Thanks to Ben and Lucy!
We’ve also been grinding away at parts of the core product to make them smoother, simpler, and better for every user.

If you’ve made it this far – thank you! 🎉
Last week, we shipped a bunch of new sharing, feedback, and permission controls to make it easier (and safer) to share Arcades across your team, customers, and funnel.
Arcaders wanted better insights into how specific people engage with their Arcades, and more ways to control who sees what.
Now, you can create unique links with fine-grained controls for personalization, access, and security.
Thanks to Alex for leading the charge on Custom Links!
Commenting used to be limited to your team and hidden inside the Arcade app. Now, anyone — viewers or teammates — can leave comments directly on shared Arcades.
No more chasing feedback in Slack or email threads. It’s a faster, simpler way to collect input from stakeholders, prospects, or anyone you’re collaborating with.
Thanks to Val and Lucy for bringing this to life.
Enterprise teams need clear control over who can do what within Arcade.
With Role-Based Access Control, admins can now manage access at scale. We now offer roles for:
You can have different roles across different teams, and every enterprise workspace now comes with free viewer seats, making it easy for everyone to benefit from Arcade.
Reach out to your account exec to get set up, and big thanks to Ben and Lucy for driving RBAC forward.
If the changelog is a little quiet this week, it's because we have a bunch of things (like a big bunch of things!) cooking to share in a week or two. Keep your eyes peeled! For now, we'll just share some Really Nice Improvements(TM) and Really Nice Bug Fixes(TM) to make your lives easier.
We’ve shipped a few thoughtful touches to make your workflow easier:
So many fun things to share this week!
We’ve fully redesigned the Share panel to make it faster, clearer, and easier to manage who sees what. It’s now much easier to see what’s been shared externally vs. internally — and stay tuned, more granular controls are on the way.
Huge thanks to Aleks for the clean new look and logic!
You can now link directly from one Arcade to another via chapter buttons. Build tours across products, stack use cases together, or just give your users a deeper dive.
Also: hotspots and callouts can now link to any URL — no more markdown fiddling required!
More eng work led by Aleks (who is usually a designer, but crushing engineering!)
Need voiceovers across multiple steps? Now you can generate or remove them all at once — no more step-by-step clicking. We’ve also improved syncing, polished the UI, and made it easier to manage long Arcades.
Massive improvement thanks to Simon!
/upload page header.Nothing big this week, just continuous improvements to your Arcade experience!
We fixed a rendering issue where videos and GIFs appeared stretched after the first step, even when previews looked perfect. This bug was tied to how Cover vs. Fit settings were handled during export.
Big thanks to Ben for the fix!
You can now drag PZ layers by clicking anywhere, not just on the tiny icon (and we removed that icon altogether for a cleaner timeline). This also applies to other timeline layers like camera recordings.
Shoutout to Lucy for the smoother interaction!
When your voiceover is longer than your video, the timeline still works perfectly — no more frozen tracks or missed clicks.
Another great upgrade from Lucy.
We're back with another round of updates to make Arcade even more powerful for your team. This month brings some exciting improvements to how you create, customize, and share your content — plus several behind-the-scenes enhancements that'll make everything run smoother.
You can now record your mobile screen using Arcade Desktop — just plug in your device and start capturing. We also refreshed the mobile viewing experience, with cleaner layouts and animations that make mobile Arcades feel polished and easy to follow.
Thank you Liisa for the amazing work here!
Trimming clips feels more natural thanks to a smarter playhead, precise controls, and better post-trim behavior. These updates bring Arcade's video editor closer to the tools you already know (and we've got even more upgrades on the way).
Thank you to Lucy for taking on this on, and extra kudos for doing it as your first project at Arcade!
Arcade's AI now skips irrelevant steps, writes better copy, and tailors CTAs and forms based on the tone you choose. The Sales tone will help you create the perfect Arcade for sales (with a form at the end for your prospects); the Marketing tone will automatically add a CTA. Whether you're in marketing or sales mode, Avery's gotten sharper, and your Arcades will feel more on-brand out of the box.
Thank you to Alex for this smart, helpful build!
We posted about this (a lot), but Arcade Desktop is now much stronger: It supports video + mobile recording, area selection, and in-app AI to generate your hotspot copy. It's fast, reliable, and a great way to record Arcades outside of the browser.

We’re investing heavily in making Arcade’s video editing feel intuitive, precise, and frustration-free. This week brings two major upgrades to trimming!
While trimming:
After trimming:
These small changes add up to a dramatically better editing experience — and we’re not done yet. Thank you to Lucy for leading the charge on this work!
After a long break, we're back with great updates! Our new desktop app is faster, sleeker, and supports mobile recording. Plug in your device, capture real interactions, and edit with the full power of Arcade.
The redesign also makes it easier to manage recordings, select specific areas, and enjoy a smoother editing experience all around. Read the full launch post here.
Avery now knows when a step needs text — and when it doesn’t.
We’ve upgraded Avery so it automatically detects which steps need hotspot copy and which ones don’t. If a step doesn’t need extra context, it’ll autoplay smoothly. Less typing, more flow. Thank you Alex for the hard work on this one!
The new Media Library filters make it easy to locate the exact screenshot or video you need — and see where it’s being used.
You can now search by media type, grab a direct asset URL, and view which Arcades include that asset. Whether you're reusing content or cleaning house, it's a big step toward smarter asset management.
Our redesigned chapter screens are here — more polished, more customizable, and easier to navigate.
Make your story flow beautifully with clear breaks and better context for viewers.

Make changes behind the scenes and only publish when you're ready.
No more live-editing stress. With Versioned Arcades, you can edit, review, and push updates on your timeline — perfect for public-facing demos or embedded Arcades.
🔗 Watch how it works:
We’ve added a manual fallback option for video uploads. If your upload ever fails, head to Chrome Extension settings to download the raw recording directly. Your work is safe — no more starting over.
Step-by-step export is now live for everyone!
Need to turn an Arcade into a written guide? You can now export every step — with text, screenshots, and even GIFs for video steps — in just one click.
Paste it into Notion, your help center, onboarding docs, or wherever your team lives.
The Arcade Desktop app now lets you select a specific area before you start recording.
Whether you’re demoing a tiny modal or a massive dashboard, you can now zero in on just the part of your screen you want to capture — no more post-recording cropping or awkward framing. It’s the easiest way to get polished, focused demos from the start.
A new way to share your Arcades with more context and direction.
Instead of just dropping a demo link, now you can create a custom Room that gives viewers a clear intro, description, downloadable files, CTA, and more, making it easier to turn demos into decisions.
Our improved ElevenLabs integration lets you customize voices with your own API key.
Prefer a different accent? Want to use a cloned voice that sounds just like you? Now you can. With our ElevenLabs integration, you can plug in your own API key and get full control over which voices show up in Arcade. Perfect for creators who want to stay on-brand, in every sense.
Watch how it works:
As 2024 wraps up, we can't help but look back at the amazing teams and stories that make up the Arcade community. We reached 100,000 Arcades published 🎉, expanded to over 15,000 teams, and secured a Series A fundraising round led by Kleiner Perkins to build for the next chapter of interactive content. These milestones would not have been possible without the support we received—big and small—from customers like you along the way. Every published Arcade, support ticket opened, and conversation has contributed to our efforts in building a beautiful, easy-to-use product, and, importantly, one that’s fun to create with—so thank you.
Inspired by last year’s inaugural campaign, we released our 2nd annual 'Year in Review'. This interactive recap showcases how customers used Arcade to power their storytelling and measure success.
Here at Arcade, we're big believers in '"dogfooding'" our product, or as Caroline likes to say, "drinking our own champagne 🥂 😉 ." If we're not using Arcade to tell our story, how can we expect you to do it? This 'Year in Review' is our way of celebrating your success while inspiring new ways to make Arcade an even more significant part of your storytelling (and it pushes us to make the product even better!).
We had a 'wicked' time pulling it together; here's a great example of the experience 🪄:
Explore the full blog post to dive into everything we shipped — including the features our users love most!

Last week was a shorter week for the Arcade team, as we came together (from across the globe!) for a company offsite to reflect on 2024 and kick-off plans for 2025! We can't wait to share more about what we have planned to build next year.
Our goal is to ensure you can create beautiful content quickly. That's where defaults come in –– to polish your content without you having to think about it. Now, when you build an Arcade, you'll automatically see:
When adding a camera recording, it's easy to forget that music was playing 🎶 in the background or that you took too long of a pause ⏸️ between sections. It happens (and it's annoying to start from scratch!)
Now, with our new AI partner, Avery ✨ (beta), you can get studio-quality recordings with the press of a button. Avery removes background music and silences and polishes the recording to make it crisp every time.

Uploads are now 4x faster! When you record an Arcade using our extension or desktop app, the time it takes to process and edit has been dramatically reduced. Performance isn’t just about numbers—it’s about that intangible feeling of "this just feels faster," making your workflow smoother and more seamless.
Spend less time organizing and more time building with multi-select options to move or delete multiple Arcades.
We raised a $14M Series A to build for the next chapter of interactive content!
Easily add text from 40+ languages (and growing!) and generate synthetic voiceover to match.
Everything starts here. Create Arcades, invite your teammates, and easily browse through previous content to track performance and figure out what to optimize. The new home experience was designed to help you find content faster –– whether you want to see what's new, what's trending, or which Arcades might need a refresh!
More video editing options to ensure that you can check every detail. Now, there's a toggle to zoom in and out of the timeline view.
A simple, yet personal way to add voiceovers to your Arcades.
Last week the team focused on squashing lots of bugs, including:
Themes allow teams to add tracking, personalization, and branding to multiple Arcades versus having to set up every time. This ensures brand consistency and saves time.
Now, you can add background music and toggle autoplay controls on the theme-level.
