Tell stronger product stories with AI videos

Great product stories don't start with a demo. Today, we made it a lot easier to tell yours.

We're doubling down on text-to-video.

A few months ago, we launched Creator Studio - our AI video product that lets you generate polished, branded product videos from a prompt.

Today, we shipped new ways to build an even richer product story in Arcade.

What most AI video tools get wrong

For years, we've seen that video is the best performing content type for product announcements, releases, and explainers. It does better on social, it drives engagement on websites, and it converts.

As AI video tools flood the market – Sora, VEO, Synthesia, and others – marketing teams are still not finding it easier to produce the videos they need. The problem is that none of these tools are built for product storytelling.

They might make a great AI avatar or cinematic b-roll, but they don’t help buyers choose your product.

As we work with thousands of marketers, here's what they tell us they need in an AI storytelling tool:

  1. Start from a prompt: Type what you want – specifically the scenes, the language, the goal – and get something usable.
  2. Built from your brand, not a template: Create with colors, typography, and style pulled from your brand kit - not a stock preset.
  3. Uses real product screens and demos: Pull in actual UI, recordings, Figma files, and demos to go from high-level storytelling to deeper product walkthroughs.
  4. Blend visuals to illustrate key messages: Generate custom diagrams and animated concepts from a description. Show off customer quotes, charts, b-roll, and more.
  5. Fine-tune at the finish line: Be able to tweak that last-mile - such as adding custom music, tweaking the voiceovers, or making other changes - without re-prompting from scratch.

The most common text-to-video use cases

As our customers generate AI videos in Arcade, here are the formats we see teams reaching for most:

Sizzle reels: Short, punchy, and built for social. Designed to stop a scroll and make someone want to see more. It's a trailer, not the film.

  • Ideal length: Under 30 seconds.
  • Where it's used: Linkedin, X, User Communities

Product overview: A high-level intro to what your product does and who it's for.

  • Ideal length: 60-90 seconds.
  • Where it's used: Hero video on your website, or the lead asset in an outreach sequence.

Launch video: Targeted to a specific release - explains what changed, why it matters, and what to do next.

  • Ideal length: 30-60 seconds.
  • Where it's used: Email campaigns, LinkedIn, X, Changelog

Release roundup: Groups multiple updates into one narrative - "What's New in Q2" style video that gives customers a sense of everything that shipped.

  • Ideal length: 1-3 minutes.
  • Where it's used: Customer newsletters, Changelog, end-of-quarter recap emails.

Explainer video: Goes beyond "here's what it does" and into "here's how this applies to your situation." Often use case or persona-specific, and detailed enough to replace a sales conversation.

  • Ideal length: 2-5 minutes.
  • Where it's used: Use case pages, post-demo follow-up, customer-specific outreach.

What’s New in Arcade

Building a product story means more than showing screens. Arcade now lets you weave together every element - b-roll, headlines, customer quotes, charts, and your interactive demo - in a single flow.

If you have 10 minutes today, give these a try:

1. Bring video into interactive demos for stronger storytelling

You can drop a generated video scene anywhere in your interactive demo. You can now add framing, customer quotes, data, charts, and more before dropping into product screens.

Some ways to use it:

  • Swap a static screenshot for a richer video explanation
  • Add a polished intro or customer quote to an existing Arcade
  • Include a chart or data to frame the story

2. Create custom video scenes, diagrams, and charts

Describe any scene in plain text - a data visualization, a motion graphic, an animated transition - and Arcade generates it from scratch.

  • Create animated charts
  • Add motion graphics
  • Bring key messages to life with illustrations
  • Pair with your existing demos or recording for a fully produced video

3. Fine-tune videos with an easy editor

You don’t need to be a Camtasia or After Effects expert to edit videos in Arcade. Nor do you need to have a three-hour conversation with an LLM. We made it easy to tweak videos so that you can quickly make those last mile edits.

  • Tweak voiceover and on-screen text in real-time
  • Change background music or add something custom
  • Add logos, b-roll, custom quotes, headlines, and other scenes
  • Adjust pan and zoom to focus in on what matters

The best product stories don't start with a demo. They open with context, build with proof, and let buyers explore.

That's what Arcade makes possible now.
