20+ AI Prompts to Help You Build Interactive Demos that Convert

Explore 20+ AI prompt templates to build better-performing demos faster.

Product marketers and sales teams spent hours crafting interactive demos manually—editing screenshots, scripting walkthroughs, and writing every step to ensure clarity.

Today, teams can use AI-powered prompts instead of starting from scratch to generate engaging, high-converting interactive demos in minutes.

👀 Did You Know? Companies incorporating AI-driven demos into their sales, marketing, and onboarding processes see a higher conversion rate and reduced time-to-value for new users.

Arcade is already the fastest tool on the market for creating interactive product tours (6 minutes vs 1 hour in Navattic, for example). Still, the secret to up-level demos quicker is using AI prompt templates designed for Arcade.

Here are 20+ of the best AI prompt templates to help you create interactive demos that drive engagement, reduce friction, and boost conversions ⤵️

Why use AI to build demos?

We haven’t seen an AI agent that can build interactive demos for you. If you find one, tell us. We might reconsider our product strategy 😅.

As with many use cases in SaaS, AI is there to assist you, not replace you. It makes teams more efficient with less by helping with tasks like:

  • Provide ideas,
  • Offer unique viewpoints
  • Take care of redundant tasks
  • Produce outputs you don’t have the internal resources to (like designs or translations)
  • Etc.

Here are a few examples of use cases where AI can be a lifesaver:

  • Compare your demos against industry benchmarks.
  • Translate your existing demos into multiple languages.
  • Personalize demo content and messaging to specific audiences.
  • Turn interactive demos into video assets.
  • Etc.

What makes a good AI prompt?

LinkedIn gurus and AI influencers attempt to answer that question daily on social media.

We won’t speculate. This is not that kind of post.

But in the context of interactive demos (or any SaaS product-related queries, for that matter), we find these standards to be consistent with quality outputs ⤵️

  • Be clear: Write what you want simply and concisely. Give precise instructions and avoid ambiguity.
  • Provide context: This might seem counterintuitive to the last point. However, AI engines work better when they have background information. Before you give your instructions, feed it as much context as possible.
  • Define the goal: Tell the AI why you’re prompting and what you expect them to provide. For example, in the context of SaaS, you may care about driving CTA clicks, or time-on-page.
  • Clarify the structure you want: If you need the output a certain way, clarify it. Don’t prompt something like “Create a background image for my interactive demo”. Instead, prompt “Create a background image of a maximum of 1.5MB with a ratio of 1200 px by 800 px using our brand guidelines found at {link to brand guidelines}”
  • Specify style: Need AI outputs to match your brand tone? Or align with existing campaigns you are running? Make sure to specify how you want the AI to package the output. Encourage creativity when needed.

Make the demo blueprint tailored to our [Persona] audience.”
