1. Visit Google Forms
Go to forms.google.com and sign in with your Google account. Click the Blank Form
or choose a template to get started.
2. Name your form
Click the Untitled form
text in the top-left corner to give your form a title, and add a description underneath it if needed.
3. Add your first question
Select a question type (like multiple choice, dropdown, or short answer), then type in your question and answer options.
4. Add additional questions
Click the +
button in the sidebar to add more questions. You can also duplicate, delete, or rearrange them.
5. Customize form settings
Click Settings
in the top bar to configure options like collecting email addresses, showing progress bars, or limiting responses to one per person.
6. Preview your form
Click the eye icon
in the top-right to preview your form and make sure it looks and functions how you want it to.
7. Adjust sharing permissions
Before sending your form, click the Send
button and choose whether to email it, copy the link, or embed it. You can control access settings to restrict or open up responses.
8. Publish and share
Once everything looks good, share the form link or embed code. You can now distribute it via email, chat tools like Slack or Teams, or embed it on your website.
