1. Open your Google Sheet and select the columns to hide
In Google Sheets, click the letter header of the column you want to hide (e.g., C
). To select multiple, hold Shift
and click adjacent column headers.
2. Right-click the selected column header
With the column(s) highlighted, right-click on any selected header to open the context menu.
3. Choose the Hide column
option
Click Hide column
from the dropdown. The column will disappear and small arrows will appear between the adjacent columns, indicating a hidden section.
4. (Optional) Use the top menu as an alternative
You can also go to View
> Show/Hide columns
or use Format
> Column
to access visibility options, though right-click is fastest.
5. Unhide columns by clicking the small arrows
To bring hidden columns back, click the gray arrows between column headers or right-click the surrounding columns and choose Unhide column
