How to Embed a Video in Canva

Highlighting text in Canva helps emphasize key words or phrases. You can add color behind text using Canva’s highlight tool or by creating custom shapes.

1. Open Your Design in Canva

‍Go to Canva and open the project where you want to place the video.

‍2. Go to the Apps Menu

‍In the left toolbar, click Apps to explore Canva’s integrations.

‍3. Select a Video Source

‍Choose from YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive, depending on where your video is hosted.

‍4. Search or Paste a Link

‍Search for a video (YouTube/Vimeo) or paste the video link directly into the search field. For Google Drive, connect your account to select a file.

‍5. Insert the Video

‍Click on the video thumbnail or file, and Canva will add it directly to your design.

‍6. Resize and Position

‍Drag to resize and move the video anywhere on your canvas. You can also trim or crop it as needed.
