How to Duplicate a Canva Project

This is an Arcade

Duplicating a Canva project lets you create a copy to edit without changing the original. Perfect for templates, versioning, or trying new design variations.

1. Open Canva and Go to Your Projects

Go to Canva and click Projects from the left sidebar to see all your saved designs.

2. Find the Design You Want to Duplicate

Hover over the project thumbnail and click the three-dot More menu.

3. Select Make a Copy

Click Make a copy. Canva will instantly duplicate the design and save it to your Projects.

4. Rename and Edit the Copy

Open the duplicated project, rename it in the top toolbar, and start editing without affecting the original.
