Select the row just under the row you want to remain visible. For example, to freeze row 1, click on row 2.‍

3. Go to the View tab

Click the View tab in the Excel ribbon at the top of the screen.

4. Click Freeze Panes

In the View tab, open the Freeze Panes dropdown and select Freeze Panes.‍

5. Confirm the row is frozen

Scroll down the sheet — the row you selected above will now stay visible as you navigate the worksheet.
