1. How to Password Protect an Excel File (Using Search Option)
2. Open your Excel file.
3. Click on the Search bar at the top (or press Alt + Q).
4. Type “password” in the search box.
5. From the options shown, click Encrypt with Password or Protect Workbook.
6. Enter your desired password in the prompt.
7. Click OK, then re-enter the password to confirm.
8. Save your file.
