How to Create a Calendar in Confluence

Learn how to create and embed a calendar in Confluence. This step-by-step guide shows you how to add a team calendar, schedule events, and publish it to a Confluence page.

1. Open the Calendars section
Click on Calendars in the left sidebar to view and manage team calendars.

2. Add a new calendar
Click Add new calendar to start creating a calendar from scratch.

3. Fill in calendar details
Enter a name, description, and select a timezone. Then click Create to finalize the calendar setup.

4. Add events to your calendar
Click Add event to schedule meetings, deadlines, or key events on your team calendar.

5. Create a new Confluence page
Go to CreatePage to make a new page where the calendar will be embedded.

6. Insert the calendar into your page
Click the + icon in the page editor to add a new element.

7. Search for Team Calendars
Type Team Calendars in the dropdown search and select it to begin embedding.

8. Select your calendar from the list
Open the calendar dropdown and pick the one you just created.

9. Publish your page
Click Publish… to save and share your updated Confluence page with the embedded calendar.
