How to Unhide Rows in Excel

Can't find missing rows in Excel? Follow these steps to unhide all rows in your worksheet using the Format menu or right-click options.

1. Open your Excel worksheet

Launch Excel and open the file where one or more rows are hidden from view.‍

2. Select the entire sheet

Click the triangle icon in the top-left corner between A and 1 to highlight all rows and columns.

3. Right-click a row number

With the sheet selected, right-click on any visible row number along the left side.‍

4. Choose Unhide from the menu

In the dropdown menu, click Unhide. All previously hidden rows will now be visible.

5. (Optional) Use the Format menu to unhide rows

You can also go to the Home tab, click Format in the Cells group, and select Unhide Rows under Hide & Unhide.
