Magical is a chrome extension that lets you set up custom shortcuts that, when typed, automagically expand into full phrases: “brb” could expand to “be right back” or “zm” could expand to your Zoom meeting URL. Magical uses an Arcade to onboard users. Onboarding with an Arcade can help them understand quickly the value proposition of your app.
Arcade has been a game-changer for Magical. First, the setup is so quick -- we built and launched our first Arcade in minutes rather than spending engineering cycles on a full product walkthrough. Once set up, we quickly found that users who went through an Arcade were 2x more likely to activate in our product than those who didn't.
